If you glance at the decorative blurbs on the dust jackets of books, many publishers claim their writer has published a book that changes the globe. In truth, few books change the world but these are some candidates. Stock market. The Bible The book that outlines Christianity, billions of folk have lived their lives according to its text. The Quran / Koran / Al-Quran The book that outlines Islam, billions of people have lived their lives according to its text. Muslims have gone into battle to protect what the book stands for. Much of its content comes from the Charter of Freedoms issued by Henry I in 1100. The Art of War by Sun Tzu ( 6th century BC ) Numerous generals and leaders have feted this book as the classic guide to army technique and methods. This isn't surprising thanks to the richness of the African stories originating from the continent. Many stories or stories from writers on the continent, contain a rich mix of proverbs and good old recommendation from elders. Ancestors from past times left at the back great stories which teach those of us in the modern age about stuff like respect and other positive values which are still required in our day by day life.
